Climate protection and an affordable ecological design of our energy supply are crucial to counteract the ongoing climate change. It is now widely known that the emission of greenhouse gases such as CO2 and methane must be drastically reduced, so there is no need to elaborate further on this topic.
The JUMBO BLOCK® system offers an innovative solution as an underground water reservoir for energy storage, especially on a larger scale, while also enabling the use of heat pump technology. Heat pumps have been around for a long time and are a proven technology.
Similar to shallow geothermal energy, the energy stored in the reservoir water is available for use. Due to the relatively constant temperature values at a depth of 6-7 meters, heat pump technology can be efficiently used for energy generation through the storage water.
The two-stage JUMBO BLOCK® system is suitable for heating, cooling, and/or hot water production, contributing to resource-efficient climate control and heat generation.
