Links ist der Kanal schnell überlastet, das Wasser staut sich auf der Straße und läuft in den Keller. Rechts nimmt ein Speicher aus Betonfertigteilen die Regenspitze auf. Über eine Drossel gibt er das Wasser danach langsam an den Kanal ab – nur so viel, wie dieser verträgt. Dann ist er bereit für das nächste Ereignis.

On the left, the sewer is overloaded within minutes, water backs up onto the street and into the basement. On the right, a storage made of precast concrete modules absorbs the peak. A throttle then slowly releases the water to the sewer – only as much as it can handle. Afterwards the storage is ready for the next event.
