Climate tipping points are critical thresholds in the Earth’s systems.
Once these points are crossed, small changes can trigger large, often irreversible shifts — like collapsing ice sheets, vanishing rainforests, or thawing permafrost.
They can reinforce each other, accelerating global warming and pushing the climate system beyond control.
A tipping point is when change stops being gradual — and becomes unstoppable.

The chairman of IPCC has now confirmed what we highlighted in our blog post back in 2023:
The tipping points have been crossed, and the time to keep to 1.5°C or even 2°C is over.
Predictions now talk of 3°C or more within the lifetime of today’s children. There’s no going back.
No More Excuses: Adaptation Is the Only Way Forward
Debates and blame won’t help us now. It’s time for all of us to be pragmatic, roll up our sleeves, and push forward with adaptation measures. Adaptation may be hard to accept – maybe because it forces us to confront our own failures. But the fact is, we can no longer ignore reality; we have to face it head-on.
In our field, this means keeping water where it belongs: below ground, not above. Every drop that seeps into the depths reduces the risk of damage – whether to infrastructure or lives.
We have the solutions and the know-how to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Now is the time to act and protect what can still be saved.

A new level of global warming
The implications of this level of warming are nothing short of catastrophic for our planet and everyone on it. We’re not just talking about hotter summers; we’re facing extreme weather, rising sea levels, failing crops, and widespread disruptions to life as we know it.
The choices we make now will define our future.
At this point, adapting to climate change is no longer an option – it’s a necessity. We must build resilient systems and communities capable of withstanding these changes. There’s no time to wait for a miracle; we must act, adapt, and protect what can still be saved.
Adapting Today for a Safer Tomorrow
While the challenges are immense, we believe in practical solutions that make a real difference. With our JUMBO BLOCK® systems, we are committed to creating safer, more resilient communities. Together, we can help secure a world where future generations can thrive, no matter the climate challenges they face.
Now is the time to act, adapt, and protect what matters – for a safer world for all.
